To support the industrialization phase of our software solutions, we decided to adopt a new approach to product ownership.
Delta Suite (DS) is now seen as comprising a core software package, around which a number of business applications can be grafted: the modular nature of Delta Suite is asserting itself.
Given the quite different conceptual approaches (see following article), we distinguish between DS MIL-CORE and DS CIV-CORE in terms of the software core. These two software cores both have concurrent development and maintenance on both Windows and Android.
Optional business applications or modules can be linked to DS MIL-CORE. For the time being, they concern joint fire support (DS JFIRE), Action de l’Etat en Mer (DS AEM, on Windows only), integration of image-based intelligence sensors (DS ISR, on Windows only), integration of drone piloting capabilities or their payloads (DS DRONES). Other optional modules are currently being developed.
